45° Silicone Reducer – Polyester & Nomex Reinforced

45° silicone reducer hose is engineered for a transition between two pipes of different sizes. Two types of silicone reducers are provided here: polyester reinforced and Nomex reinforced. Each of them has its own unique properties.

Polyester Reinforced

45° silicone reducer hose with a polyester reinforcement layer offers excellent strength and durability, effectively facilitating the transfer of water, coolant, and air. It is commonly employed on the cold sides of intercoolers, turbochargers, and intake components, as well as in piping applications. However, it is not compatible with fuel and oil.

• Working temperature: -50 °C to +170 °C (-58 °F to 338 °F).

Nomex Reinforced

Nomex reinforced 45° silicone reducer hose is notable for its higher working temperature and high pressure. Compared with polyester reinforced reducer, its operating temperature can reach +220 °C (+428 °F). It is frequently used in hot sides of turbo boost hoses and intercooler where other hoses fail.
